The Boarding School Experience
Our residential hostels offer a safe, warm, and highly structured environment. Supervised by seasoned Housemasters and Housemistresses, boarding scholars learn mutual respect, clean hygiene, and independence.
Daily boarding routines balance prep studies (homework and reading times), dining hall activities, sports, and spiritual exercises. Our boarding dining hall offers a carefully balanced, highly nutritious Nigerian & continental menu reviewed regularly by nutrition experts.
The Four School Houses
Every student and teacher is assigned to one of our four houses, fostering friendly rivalry in academics, athletics, sports day, and debates.
Red House (Lions)
Motto: "Strength and Courage"Symbolizing raw energy, determination, and leadership. Red House students are known for their dominance in track events and debate championships.
Blue House (Eagles)
Motto: "Integrity and Vision"Flying high above challenges with clear academic focus and moral discipline. Blue House values strategic planning and fine arts.
Green House (Giants)
Motto: "Growth and Excellence"Representing fertility of mind, environmental care, and steady hard work. Green House is the reigning champion of Inter-House sports.
Gold House (Monarchs)
Motto: "Wisdom and Honor"Embodying royal dignity, deep scholarship, and community service. Gold House students lead in robotics and creative writing.
Clubs & Societies
Extracurricular clubs allow students to develop soft skills like public presentation, teamwork, project management, and logic. All students are required to join at least one Academic/Science club and one Creative/Social club.
STEAM & Robotics Club
Students build microcontrollers, write Python code, design solar lanterns, and compete in national technology hackathons.
Press & Literary Club
Responsible for writing and editing the termly school magazine, reporting campus news, and training future broadcast journalists.
Music Academy & Choir
Provides classical training in piano, violin, saxophone, and vocal dynamics. The choir coordinates our annual Christmas Carol concerts.
Debate & Public Speaking Society
Fosters logic, quick response, and vocal confidence. Participates heavily in regional and international secondary school mock trial debates.
Sports & Physical Development
We believe that physical development is as vital as cognitive expansion. Our sports program is engineered to build strength, discipline, resilience, and high sportsmanship. Students are guided by certified fitness coaches and participate in daily afternoon drills.
Covenant Christian Academy competes heavily in regional high school invitationals, boasting medals in soccer tournaments, track relays, and table tennis divisions.
