Over 20 Years of Raising Exceptional Scholars
Covenant Christian Academy was established in September 2006 by Rev. Dr. Felix I. Omobude, alongside a group of visionary Christian educators who recognized a critical gap in the educational landscape. There was a pressing need for a school that would deliver world-class academic results while strictly maintaining high moral discipline and spiritual training.
Starting on a modest campus in New Benin, Benin City, Edo State with just 15 pioneer students and 5 teachers, the academy immediately distinguished itself through exceptional results. Our students consistently swept regional science exhibitions and secured high placements in junior exams.
Today, Covenant Christian Academy has expanded from its New Benin headquarters to multiple state-of-the-art campuses, including Upper Mission Extension in Uteh, Benin City, and Lekki Phase 1 in Lagos, hosting over 800 students. We remain dedicated to our original vision: to raise intellectually robust and morally upright leaders who will shape the future of Nigeria and the globe.

Rev. Dr. Felix I. Omobude
Founder & General OverseerRev. Dr. Omobude is a renowned Christian minister, statesman, and founder of New Covenant Gospel Church. He established the academy with a vision to raise leaders of integrity through sound faith and science.
Dr. Emmanuel Olatunji
School PrincipalDr. Olatunji has a PhD in Curriculum Studies from the University of Lagos. He oversees academic programs, standardized testing, and teacher development across both campuses.
Mrs. Funmi Coker
Vice Principal (Student Affairs)With 15 years of pastoral and boarding house coordination experience, Mrs. Coker oversees extracurricular activities, boarding facilities, and student discipline.
